SLG Business Meeting

A quorum of officers was not present.
Calendar:
- The Lore Class will begin the 4th Wednesday in September, to be held
on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30 pm at Guild House. Kami
will be teaching the class.
- Coffee Hour is moving to Crazy Wisdom.
- The calendar will be greatly reduced during the summer months next
year, and in September this year.
Bylaws:
- Quorum was not reached. The deadline will be extended and the Scribe
will call those people whose votes were not received and ask them to
vote.
Youth Activities Coordinator:
- Michael resigned as YAC effective immediately. This position will be
left vacant until the number of children attending Grove events
increases.
Elections:
- The following offices terms are up: Senior Druid, Grove
Administrator, Scribe, PurseWarden, Membership, Outreach, Grove
Ecologist. Letters calling for nominations will go out the week of 7/12
with nominations to close by 8/9. Ballots will be mailed by 8/18 and
voting will close by 9/18. New officers will be installed by Samhain.
Grove Burnout:
- Will cut summer schedule
- Query Guild members to find out what activities they are interested
in supporting.
- Annette to develop survey for Members, to be done over the phone.
An Bruane:
- revamped to include priestly training.
- try to enhance the pool of educated, dedicated people in the Grove.
Membership Guide & Directory:
- Janet to update and distribute by LughFest.
LughFest:
- Not alot of preregistration, but lots of interest.
- Rob to inform on status of Janet and caterers on Tues. after Festival
Comm. mtg.
Other:
- Fox read letter from Toad, taking 1 year sabbatical.
- Collection agency on track of Gwydion.
