SLG Business Meeting

June 8, 2004

Called to order at 7:58 pm
Attending - Rev. Rob Henderson, Rodney Cox, Gen Stoyak, Jude Howison

Officer Reports

Senior Druid - Rob Henderson - We have 2 new members -- Janet and her son Colin. Colin is our first junior member in some time.

Administrator - Jude Howison - We need to decide on a community project for this quarter. I will e-mail the list to see what our members would be interested in participating with.

Scribe - Jude Howison - Meeting minutes are up-to-date.

Pursewarden - Rod Cox - Donations were able to cover all of the submitted costs for Beltain. There may be some unsubmitted receipts still, but hopefully they will still be covered by what we took in.

Chronicler - Gen Stoyak - Newsletter is due out at next ritual. I would like to have another Shiny Late Newts soon. It could be a sort of Martha Stewart Living theme.

Public Relations - (none) - No report.

Youth Activities Coordinator - (none) - No report.

Web Master - Rob Henderson - Some new photos were added to the web page.

Guild Leader Reports

Magicians - Rod Cox - The national Magicians Guild now has a new preceptor.

Healers - Rod Cox - The national Healers Guild had a meeting at Wellspring. I did a lot of Reiki treatments due to the Warrior games and I also attuned several more people to Runic Reiki.

Warriors - Rod Cox - The national Warriors Guild held championship games at Wellspring. I took 4th place over all and 2nd in archery. I really sucked at circle challenge.

Producers - Gen Stoyak (Pro-tem) -- The Producers may become more involved in the community service projects. Also, perhaps the Producers could be officially responsible for the Grove necklaces.

Other Agenda Items

1. Fund raising - Ideas for the Summer months?

Possibly make items at a craft day to offer for "donations" at Lughfest.

2. Community Service project ideas for this quarter.

We need to find out what people want to participate in. (see Administrator report above)

3. Lughfest. Site has been arranged, do we need to call for workshops or start advertising?

The call for workshops is out. Kami has volunteered to do a workshop.
There will be the Grove championship games, a Bar-B-Q, and croquet.

4. MAPS - I mean SAC - wait no FOCUS -- OH what the *#@&$@! HYDRA picnic : Are we set to do our usual Ritual?

Yes we are scheduled for a Ritual, but we don't have any idea of a schedule. We will do the same Bel Ritual from last year.

5. Election committee? How is the election process coming?

Rob will be the election committee.

6. Prism Temple

They want to meet with us. We propose meeting at the picnic since it will be about 1/2 way for each group.
