SLG Business Meeting

Called to order at 7:30 pm

Officer Reports

Senior Druid - Rob Henderson - Quarterly report was in on time. Beltain Ritual and firewatch were well attended. There were 22 at firewatch, 6-8 (Chuck & Jude were late) at Dawn Rite, and 33 at the afternoon Ritual even though it was raining. Wellspring is coming up. Isaac B. may be coming through Ann Arbor.

Administrator - Jude Howison - No report.

Scribe - Jude Howison - January and February min are in. I would like to send Grove news to Oakleaves for the new News section.

Pursewarden - Rod Cox - Income for Beltain was good, all costs were covered.

Chronicler - Gen Stoyak - There was no newsletter for Beltain but there was an issue of Shinny Late Newts. It was enjoyed by all.

Public Relations - (none) - No report.

Youth Activities Coordinator - (none) - We did have several children present for our Beltain Ritual.

Web Master - Rob Henderson - No report.

Guild Leader Reports

Magicians - Rod Cox - Rod was the only Guild member at Guild day. There were 2 guests.

Healers - Rod Cox - There is a meeting planned for the national Guild at Wellspring. Rod and Jude plan to attend.

Warriors - Rod Cox - No report.

Producers - Gen Stoyak (Pro-tem) -- No meetings are planned at the moment.

Other Agenda Items

1. Fund raising - Ideas for the Summer months?
Gen felt that the car blessing needed to be explained better. She felt that more people would have participated had they understood what it was all about. It was proposed that we publish an explanation in the newsletter and hold another blessing later this summer. Some other activities proposed for the summer: Putt Putt, Paintball.

2. Community Service project ideas for this quarter.
Possibly participate in the Ann Arbor Parks river day in July. Also proposed a sewing circle with the Producers Guild to make items for shelters, nursing homes and/or hospitals.

3. Lughfest. Site has been arranged, do we need to call for workshops or start advertising?
Rob will put out a call for workshops.

4. MAPS - I mean SAC - wait no FOCUS -- OH what the *#@&$@! HYDRA picnic
The picnic is still on. We will probably do a Ritual.
