SLG Business Meeting

April 10, 2007

Called to Order: 7:10 pm

Officer Reports

Senior Druid - Rob Henderson
Ritual happened and went well. We had 18 in attendance. In case I hadn't mentioned it before, we collected 52 pounds of food from Imbolc. The ADF election is on track.

Asst. Senior Druid - Rod Cox
We had a good Ritual, no one died. The omen was good, although I have never liked omens that include Perthro.

Administrator - Jude Howison
Not much to report, it's Spring and I'm braindead.

Scribe - Jude Howison
Minutes are up-to-date. I will check the website and email more of the missing minutes to Rob.

Pursewarden - Rod Cox
We are getting shorter on funds. See report.

Chronicler - Gen Stoyak
The newsletter went out on time.

Public Relations - Chuck Howison - absent

I've got the Rituals up and am working on the business minutes.

There was only Jude and I for Guild Day this month.

Other Agenda Items

1. Do we need to start Convocation Suite fund raising now?

More like save the Grove!

Some ideas for fund raising.
      Mechanical money taker (like the old timey banks). Let's make it fun to give.
      Have a merchant table at Beltain.
      Make flower hair wreaths to sell.
      Make 'sacred waters' necklaces to sell.

2. Grove wheat?
Rob still needs to look at the heritage seed sites.

3. Election committee volunteer?
Yup, we need to get someone. Rob can serve as the committee this year if need be but he will put out a call for volunteers.
