SLG Business Meeting

February 7, 2006

Officer Reports

Senior Druid - Rob Henderson
Our Brigeog this year yielded 46 poundsof food for the local food bank.  The Columbus Brigeog trip was good, thanks to Dot for providing transportation!  The Imbolc ritual had 15 in attendance, there were lots of visitors, and the omen was good.  On the national front, there is some discussion of a national Producers Guild.  I was renewed for another year as an ADF priest.  I must begin serious work on the Clergy Study Program in order to maintain that.

Asst. Senior Druid – Rod Cox
Ritual went well; it was good to see new people.  The Columbus trip was good; it was nice to get to see many of the Ohio folks again.  I posted to the ADF leadership that we feel that Michigan's Lower Peninsula should be in the same region as Ohio and Indiana.  As it is now, we are disconnected from the other parts of our region.

Administrator - Jude Howison
Basic service is continuing.  It is good to have An Bruane started up again.  I'm hoping that there will be some renewed interest in our Grove spirituality.

Scribe - Jude Howison
I am going to try to set up a schedule to get the minutes caught up.

Pursewarden - Rod Cox
The banking address mix-up will be straightened out tomorrow and we will get new cards.  See balance sheet for other account information.

Chronicler - Gen Stoyak
Newsletters have gone out.  As usual, I need more articles for the next one.

Public Relations - Chuck Howison
No report.

Youth Activities Coordinator - Matt Tannehill
No report.

Web Master - Rob Henderson
There have not been many updates lately. I'll be working on it.

Guild Leader Reports

Magicians - Rod Cox - On the national level, the 1st circle is up and accepting students.

Healers - Rod Cox - Good guild day, Cali was attuned to Run Valdr.

Warriors - Rod Cox - There is some discussion about something on there.

Producers - Gen Stoyak (Pro-tem) -- We have had a couple of craft days.  Dot proposed that we purchase some PMC to make silver coins for the Well offerings and also perhaps to make the suns for our necklaces.  We are attempting to create a beautiful and artistic table for Convocation.

Other Agenda Items

1. Convocation – Ritual planning, Room Party?, other activities?

I will check to see if we can get a "staffer" to share the suite cost.
I will also try to check to see what the hotel usually charges for a suite.

Gen proposes having "Black Magic" roses for delivery to rooms as a fund raiser.
