Officer Reports

Senior Druid - Rob Henderson
There were no rituals scheduled since our November meeting, therefore nothing to report on rituals. There has been a delay in the approval of the new ADF Dedicant's Study Program. The program has been sent to the Clergy Council for revision and is expected to be done by Imbolc. (or sooner, Gods willing)

Administrator - Jude Howison
There was no fund raising since November meeting. There are plans to discuss fund raising later in the meeting.

Scribe - Jude Howison
Minutes for the November meeting have been distributed and posted.

Pursewarden - Rod Cox
Rodney distributed copies of the current balance sheet noting that the borrowed funds from the guilds have all been repaid. (Yeah!!)

Chronicler - Gen Stoyak
No newsletter was due since November meeting, therefore nothing to report.

Public Relations - Chuck Howison
Rob reports that we missed the deadline for Crazy Wisdoms news by a few days. He also notes that we have never had any response to ads at CW anyway.

Youth Activities Coordinator - (none)
(no report)

Web Master - Rob Henderson
The website is getting caught up. Order of Service for 2003 rituals are almost complete. Rob also reports that we have gotten some very positive e-mail about our website. Plans for dressing up the pages is still in progress.

Guild Leader Reports

Magicians - Rod Cox - There has been good attendance.

Healers - Rod Cox - Good attendance and there was a presentation at the most recent meeting.

Warriors - Rod Cox - Good attendance and there was also a presentation at the most recent meeting. Nationally, elections are still in progress.

Producers - Gen Stoyak (Pro-tem) - A meeting has been planned for January 18, 2004 at Dot's home. (Thanks for having us Dot!!) We will be making items to sell at Convocation. A Yahoo group will be set up to allow for discussion prior to the meeting.

Other Agenda Items

1. Proposed bylaw change - Lift term limit for assistant Senior Druid. -- Motion passed unanimously. Article 7, paragraph 5 of the SLG by laws will be changed to remove the statement " No individual may serve more than three consecutive full terms as assistant Senior Druid."

2. Applying for full Charter. -- We will apply for full charter. Rob will bring the paper work to the Yule Ritual for the necessary signatures.

3. Fund raising - Paypal, website sales, Producers Guild, Car Blessing....... -- Webmaster Rob, with the assistance of Pursewarden Rod, will look into setting up an account with PayPal. Sales of Producers Guild items from the website will be pursued in the near future. The proposed car blessing is tentatively planned for just prior to the Beltane ritual. Rob will look into the possibility of using the parking lot of the office complex adjoining Botsford Preserve as a site. Another idea offered for fundraising is to run a concession stand at U of M games.

4. Community service ideas ( a must have for May to July quarter) - See United Way list sent by Gen. -- It was decided to donate items to Huron Valley Humane Soc. for the Yule Ritual. Rob will make an announcement on the e-mail list. It was also suggested the donations for Pig Hoppers (did I get that right?) may be a good choice for the Spring Equinox Ritual.

5. Convocation room - Decorations, merchant table, budget for refreshments....... -- The room has been reserved for Convocation, we have until 6pm on Feb. 19 to cancel it. Rob will look into getting a merchant permit to sell items from the Grove's room (the official merchant area is full). The Theme for the room will be Harry Potter - sorting hat. Gen has requested $100 as a budget for refreshments and room decor. We currently have 3 definite $50 pledges and 1 maybe.

6. Yule preparations. -- We can get a 4 foot potted tree for about $45. It is planned to make some of the tree decorations at the Firelighting. Further discussion will continue at Liturgist roundtable.

Meeting adjourned at 9:05 pm
