SLG Business Meeting Minutes
February 8th, 2001
The meeting was called to order at 7:20 by Don Clayton.
Present: Don Clayton, Rodney Cox, Jan Henderson, Rob Henderson, Gen Stoyak, Patrick Monagin, Kirn Greymalkin, Maria Valayil, Fred Wark, Laurel Beyer. There was a quorum.

Calendar Review
The calendar was reviewed and revised with the following changes made:

Time for Liturgists Roundtable should be changed to 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
Officer Reports/Guild Leader Reports
Senior Druid
4 houses were visited by the 'Biddies'.

No report. Jan requested a copy of the January minutes from Don.
Outreach Coordinator
No report
Pursewarden
Patrick submitted written financial statements. He has also gotten information on a company that does Green, socially responsible investing. He will bring the material to the next business meeting.
Grove Ecologist
The DEQ got a poor rating from an environmental watch dog agency. Also, March 11th is the date for the Creek Festival.
Chronicler
The newsletter is in progress. Many articles were submitted this time!
Youth Activities Coordinator
Planning is underway for the rite on Imbolc. Two children attended the Yule rite. Hopefully the membership will grow.
Guild Leader Reports
Seers
The Seers had their retreat. There was a good sharing some serious, some not. The Beltaine ritual was discussed.

Naturalists
The Guild participated in the Stonefly Search. The next guild meeting is in two weeks. They may have a new member who watches birds.
Producers
The Producers made soap! They also made Brid crosses. There 7 people at the last meeting. They made 17 crosses from the wheat stalks from last year's crop.
New Business
Gen made a motion, second by Patrick to shift the order of the agenda items as follows Convocation, Bring Back the Snakes Party, Bylaw Additions. Motion passed.
Convocation
The web site has a comprehensive list of classes. The site will be updated this weekend. Send details to Gen tonight for anything you want sent in. Mickey offered to help as needed and was immediately drafted to help man a table. Don will have Lugh Fest flyers printed so they can be distributed. Patrick will be working at hospitality all weekend. Gen needs an advance of $50 for hospitality.
Maria thanked everyone who is working on the Brid classes and ritual. The final meeting to practice chanting will be at Mickey's after fire watch.
Rob will set the list for activities at the SLG room.
BBSP
There was discussion about whether the party would still be a joint venture with Willow Marsh. Gen requested that someone volunteer to plan the party. Mickey offered to organize and host it at his house. Rob was asked to call Mark to see if Willow Marsh still wanted to co-host and to explain that we don't have anyone to plan it. Mickey had t-shirts made with a BBSP logo. There is a web based form to order shirts. The shirts are awesome!
Bylaw Additions
Tabled for the March meeting.
